Maths area
In Maths, we use a range of different resources, pictures and models to help us with our learning. You might hear your children talking about 'diennes' or 'base 10' these are plastic tens and ones which children use to help them build numbers.
Another resources we use for counting in tens and ones are place value counters. We use these to help us build numbers and then move on to using them for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. They are a great way of building and playing with numbers.
