Learning council Learning Walk

During our International Week of learning, the Learning Council did a learning walk to find out which of the schools Learning Habits were being used by children across the school. They also discussed when they thought they the most learning was happening.

They emailed the teachers to explain their findings. Here is what they wrote:

Dear teachers,

The learning council have been busy looking at learning this afternoon and they want to share what they saw:

The best things were lots of children being independent and taking their time to save time.

The things we saw that made us think more about learning was whether more learning happens when the children are talking amongst themselves or whether more learning happens when just one child is speaking to the whole class.

If you want to know more about what we saw then please ask us any time.

Here are our findings... From the Learning Council
