NSPCC - Speak Out, Stay Safe workshops

we welcomed Shelly and Mike from the NSPCC to talk with the children about how to stay safe and when they need to speak out to others. All children learnt about the Childline number in assembly (0800 1111) and the year 5/6 children had a workshop to explore how to stay safe online. This always features highly in discussions with children across the school and it is important that parents fully understand what their children are doing online.

The website, set up by the NSPCC, gives clear guidance on how to set up parental controls and ideas for regular conversations that you should be having with your child. Follow the link to this from the school website.
