Saffron Lane

Wednesday 19th June saw 30 children from KS2 represent the school at Saffron Lane Area Athletics. The children were buzzing to go out to Leicester and take part in a number of athletic events such as throwing, long jump, sprinting and the treacherous 800m races. Not to mention all of the relays.

The afternoon was a success which saw Beth make the final of her sprint race, and Chloe and Maisie win silver and bronze medals respectively in the long jump.
All children put in massive effort and even a trip in the 800m didn't stop one member of the team taking part in the relay.
