Science Week

We have had a fantastic Science week full of amazing investigations!

Reception have been investigating floating and sinking.
Year 1/2 have been investigating which is the most waterproof material.
Year 3/4 have been experimenting with sound.
Year 5/6 have been investigating as much as they can about forces. They have been really showing off their investigative skills by getting precise and accurate measurements to convince others.

We haven't been investigating on our own though! We have had some friends to help us...

Captain Conjecture uses his powers for making really clever guesses using what he already knows. Canine the Convincer is really good at convincing others why his conjecture is correct!

We also had Science Boffin Neville to join us in school to show us all about Science in real life. We found out about the special material that you find in nappies and built our own machines using our knowledge of forces.

Year 1 and 2 investigated waterproof materials.      In our house teams we investigated surface tension.
