We have been throwing ourselves into 'Being Brilliant' this term by fundraising for the community! Altogether we have raised over £400.00 and also donated coats to the salvation army as well!
The children threw themselves into their enterprising projects, making products to sell at the Christmas Fair for Children in Need.
We were very proud of our violinists and school choir for making the Christmas Fair a very special occasion as well. It is really clear how much they are improving! (We have space for more people to join the choir who meet every Monday after school!)
Of course we mustn't forget our brilliant PAFO who organised the event for us - even booking the big man himself to drop by with a few small gifts. Much excitement was had by all in waiting for him to arrive. Brodie Jack even became the 'Santa Expert' looking to the skies at break-time and listening out for his bells! Thank you everyone who turned up to support the event.
We must not forget our 'random act of kindness' in our brilliant last-minute fund-raising event for the local couple who were robbed of only their pension. The children have written beautiful heartfelt letters and the money raised has been used to buy them a hamper and vouchers from tescos for exactly the £68.00 that was taken. Our little act of kindness to reach out to our local community.
