Italian Pizza Making - September 2015
We have had a fantastic week of learning finding out about Italian ingredients that could be used as toppings for our pizzas. We found out about how the Mediterranean climate helps to produce some foods in Italy including how the sun dries out tomatoes.
Mrs Gilbert would have been very impressed with our rubbing-in techniques when we made the pizza bases. The palms of our hands were very clean!
When planning the toppings for our pizzas we tried to plan a balance of flavours - not too sweet and not too salty. What do you think to the look of these pizzas?
