Roman Day

On Friday 4th December after our Sharing Assembly, we had a fantastic day dressed as Romans! We took part in lots of Roman activities including making Roman honey cake and learning about Roman numerals. Romans would have eaten honey cake because we found out that all of the ingredients would have been available to them. The class decided that they would not have had chocolate to bake with as the Mediterranean climate would not allow cocoa to grow.

A big thank you to all of the grown ups who helped us with our costumes - everyone looked amazing!
