Dream …Believe …Achieve

Enabling children to flourish and succeed

Working with external agencies

The school's mental health and wellbeing policy has a clear flow chart to help staff to understand what needs to be put in place before a referral is made to external providers. The policy also states which outside agencies would be referred to if there was a long-term mental health need. Children at school have been referred to these agencies over the past year.

The school has worked with a number of external providers including:

- CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service)

- School Nurse and GP

- Educational Psychologist

- D and A Inclusion - 2 specially trained teaching assistants giving pastoral support to pupils

- Worth-it - a local social enterprise group working with pupils and schools to support mental health and wellbeing (www.worthit.org.uk)
